How to Set a Bitcoin Price Alert on Telegram (Free, No Code, 2 Minutes)

If you trade crypto, you already know the problem: the move happens while you're asleep, at work, or three minutes after you closed the app. Exchange alerts help a little, but most of them only fire on a single price, only on that exchange, and only inside that app's notification stack — where they get buried.

Here's how to set a Bitcoin price alert that actually reaches you on Telegram, for free, without writing any code.

Why Telegram beats app notifications

Telegram alerts land in a chat you already check dozens of times a day. There's no separate app to open, no notification tray to dig through, and the message stays in your history so you can scroll back and see exactly when the level broke. For most traders that's the difference between reacting in 30 seconds and reacting in 30 minutes.

Step 1: Decide the actual condition, not just a price

Most people set one alert: "BTC above $70,000." That's fine, but it only covers one side. Real setups usually have two sides — a breakout level and an invalidation level. Write the rule out in plain language first:

  • Breakout: BTC above $67,000
  • Breakdown: BTC below $62,000
  • Combined: BTC above $67,000 OR BTC below $62,000

You can go further with AND logic — for example, "BTC below $62,000 AND ETH below $1,850" only fires when the whole market is rolling over, not when BTC wicks alone.

Step 2: Build it with a no-code alert tool

Open DoneRoad, pick Bitcoin, and add your conditions. Combine them with AND/OR, and the tool shows you a plain-English preview of the rule before you save — so you can confirm it means what you think it means. No scripts, no API keys, no TradingView subscription.

Step 3: Connect Telegram

Link your Telegram in the notification settings and the alert gets pushed straight to your chat the moment the condition is true. You can add email as a backup if you want a second channel.

Step 4: Set it and leave it

This is the part that matters. Once both sides of the trade are covered, you don't need to sit in front of the chart through a CPI print, a Fed decision, or an Asian session. The alert does the watching.

What else you can alert on

The same rule builder works beyond Bitcoin — Ethereum and other crypto, stocks, forex pairs, gold and silver, and oil. So one place covers your whole watchlist instead of four different apps.
