How to Get a Free Telegram Price Alert for Crypto and Gold (No Code, One Rule)

Most price alerts are built for one asset at a time. You set one on your exchange for Bitcoin, another on a metals app for gold, and a third somewhere else for oil. Then a single macro print moves all three at once, and you get told about it three times — usually after the move.

That is exactly what happened this week. July US PCE inflation came in at 0.2% month-over-month against expectations of 0.1%. Bitcoin, which had touched a three-month high above $80,000 the day before, failed to reclaim that level and slid back toward $78,000. Gold, trading near $4,600, came under pressure in the same session. One number, three markets, one cause.

Why single-asset alerts fail on macro days

A per-asset alert answers "did this price get hit?" On a macro day, that is the wrong question. The useful question is "did risk-off start?" — and the answer shows up across asset classes, often in whichever one you were not watching.

You also can't pre-position properly. If you know an event is coming — an inflation print, a Fed speaker, an earnings release — you want your alert armed before it, not set up in a panic afterwards.

The fix: one OR rule across asset classes

Instead of three alerts, use one rule with OR conditions:

BTC < 76000 OR XAU < 4550 OR WTI < 60

This fires once, on whichever leg breaks first. The leg that triggers tells you where the pressure landed. If you want confirmation instead of a first-touch signal, swap to AND:

BTC < 76000 AND XAU < 4550

That only fires when both are down — a much stronger read on genuine risk-off than either one alone.

How to set it up for free

  1. Open DoneRoad and pick your first asset (crypto, forex, stocks, precious metals or oil).
  2. Set the condition — above or below your level.
  3. Add a second and third condition, joining them with OR (any) or AND (all).
  4. Check the plain-English preview. It writes your rule out as a sentence, so you can confirm it means what you think before saving.
  5. Choose Telegram, email, or both.

No code, no API keys, no exchange permissions. The whole thing takes about a minute.

Before the next event

Fed Chair nominee Kevin Warsh speaks Friday, and thin late-August liquidity means the reaction is likely to be sharper than the news deserves. Whatever your levels are, arm them today rather than reacting tomorrow.

DoneRoad is free during beta — set up your first multi-asset alert.
